I have been working with people and their physical health for over a decade. I feel deeply connected to my roll in helping people resolve pain and dysfunction and improve their physical abilities. Life is only as good as you can move, I love helping people move freely and live well. I have found that giving people an understandable explanation of the body and how it all works together allows us to collaborate and resolve any issues.
I have had great success working with people suffering from:
Severe back pain
Headaches and migraines
Neck pain and immobility
Shoulder and rotator cuff issues
Pelvis and hip problems
Balance and coordination challenges
Carpal tunnel syndrome
Chronic knee pain and instabilities
Plantar fasciitis / chronic foot pain and issues
Jaw pain and dysfunction
I use my experience to analyse posture and body mechanics to diagnose any movement dysfunction that could be causing pain, instability, misalignment or imbalance. Once identified, I release any tightness and promote stability throughout the body using a combination of functional exercises, trigger point therapy and soft tissue manipulation. I work towards creating skeletal alignment for my clients, so a sense of physical stability is created. A very important aspect to be aware of is that your body is a memory substance. This means your body gets good at whatever posture or movement you are doing regularly, whether it is good for you or not. This can have severe impacts on the alignment, stability and balance of the body. This is significant to everyone, no matter what you do in life, everyone has dominating positions which can negatively impact on their body and their lives. I can teach you how to identify your disfunction, how to release and correct it.
I am a big believer in conscious movement. Posture is the powerhouse behind everything we do. Being aware of your posture throughout your life is the ultimate key to a pain free existence.
Teaching people how to hold and be aware of their posture is something I take great pride in.
Whether it’s a slight niggle or chronic pain, I can help you.
